Mexico City, November 16, 2023.- The UHPH Platform is set to kick off the immersive week of the MECATE Program - an international program by the Laboratory of Entrepreneurship and Public Transformation at Tec de Monterrey, fostering the exchange of knowledge and best practices in public entrepreneurship.

The event will take place from November 20 to 24, 2023, in Mexico City, bringing together entrepreneurs and change leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean with the 12 winning initiatives of the UHPH 2023 Contest. These initiatives are recognized for their innovation in the field of housing and habitat, specifically addressing climate change.

During this contest edition, a total of 145 submissions were received from 16 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. These were meticulously reviewed by a panel of experts, selecting the 12 winning initiatives. Among the benefits provided to the winners was the opportunity to attend a UHPH innovation and collaboration laboratory for housing and habitat in Latin America and the Caribbean.
